Functional Skills English Preparation 15 hours.

Our part-time Functional Skills English course is designed for learners of all levels who wish to improve their English in a communicative and dynamic environment. You can choose between morning, afternoon or evening classes, allowing you time to explore London before or after your lessons.

This course is designed for individuals, regardless of whether English
is their first language, and provides practical skills essential for the
modern world, helping you maximise your life, learning, and work
experiences.

The programme helps students develop strong communication skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening while equipping them with essential life skills for success. The qualifications build confidence and prepare students effectively for further education and employment.

This course often serves as a student’s first accredited qualification in English and provides a solid foundation for GCSE preparation. It supports a wide range of abilities and is widely recognised by schools as an equivalent qualification.

Course Details:

– Functional Skills English – 15 hours per week: A part-time course with lessons available in the morning (10:00-13:00) or afternoon (14:00-17:00) or evening (18:00 – 21:00), Monday to Friday.

– Classes are at the school.

– Course Length: Minimum 1 week

– Class Size: Maximum 10 students (average 4-7)

– Minimum Age: 18

Please note: No lessons on UK Bank Holidays. Fees remain the same during these weeks.

Assessment and Placement:

All students take an Initial Assessment Test to ensure you are placed
in a class that matches your level, from Beginner (A1) to Proficiency
(C2). Lessons are designed to be engaging and tailored to your needs.
